Kore (Greek: κόρη "maiden"; plural korai) is the modern term given to a type of free-standing ancient Greek sculpture of the Archaic period depicting female figures, always of a young age. The concept pictures the personal investigation journey between the gender within the self, the anima aspect in animus, the relationship with the mother and the platonic observation of the women. DISPLAYED PHOTOS ARE THOSE EVIDENCING ONE OF HIS EARLIEST WORKS. THE FIRST PHOTO WAS TAKEN WHEN KOSTA ONLY HAD 17 YEARS, AND MOST OF THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN DURING HIS EARLY ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT. HE HAD BEEN WORKING ON THIS TOPIC FOR 6 YEARS, AND AFTER TWO EXHIBITIONS, HE CLOSED THAT CHAPTER. THE COLLECTION COUNTS MORE THAN 20 PHOTO WORKS, BUT THOSE 8 PRESENT THE ESSENTIAL EMOTION AND VISUAL LANGUAGE. WITH THIS PHOTOGRAPHIC BODY KOSTA OPENED HIS FIRST SOLO EXHIBITION AT THE AGE OF 22, IN 2017, NAMED “KORAI”. THE FOLLOWING YEAR, HE PRODUCED ANOTHER EXHIBITION NAMED “KORAI: SELECTED WORK” WHERE HE INVITED A FEMALE ARTIST - DANICA, AND THEY TOGETHER EXHIBITED DIFFERENT ANGLES OF THE SAME STORY - THE BEAUTY OF WOMEN AND PASSION FOR BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY.
