About

Kosta is a graduate audio-visual artist & art director. He studied at the University of Arts in Belgrade and Master's studies in the Arts of cinematography & directing in three different countries: Dublin, Tallinn & Budapest. In his work, he experiments with the inter-media concept that includes exploring the idea of corporeality and spirituality.

In 2017, he set up the first solo exhibition of photographs called "Korai" in which he looks back at the problem of standardization of female beauty in modern society through a portrait, but also his questioning of female energy & relationship with the mother. During his studies, he explored a non-narrative experimental film forms in which he combined elements of documentary and dance films with narration, imaginary landscapes and sacred tunes.

The process of creating artwork helps him bond the relationship between the inner & outer world, so naturally, his works serve him as a diary and a reminder; but he hopes that it serves someone else as well—someone who shares the empathy and has their own process.
